Global Health Fellow
Originally from the city of East Chicago, Brenda has traveled to many cities and towns across Indiana in pursuit of higher education and her passions. She received her B.S. in Human Biology from Indiana University in 2018 and recently completed her M.S. in Global Health at the University of Notre Dame. Her parents and siblings have always led lives of selflessness and generosity, and she has made it her mission to live out those family ingrained values in every aspect of life. Brenda has fervently advocated for food security as a basic human right, devoting many hours of her time volunteering at food pantries that not only provide food assistance, but elevate community members through education, political advocacy, and resource libraries. Now, she is excited to join the Timmy HQ team as the 2020-2021 Global Health Fellow to help guide students live out Timmy’s mission to its greatest extent!
When not working or volunteering, you can find Brenda exploring on her bike, running with friends, or embroidering while listening to podcasts!
