Becky is one of the two “Medicine Women” at Timmy Global Health. She has been a volunteer at Timmy since 2002 and has been on many Timmy medical brigades to Guatemala, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.
Becky is a clinical microbiologist, but on Timmy trips assumes a variety of roles including pharmacy and triage, when her microbiology skills are not needed. She enjoys procuring medications and supplies for the trips, as well as spending the week with the college students and the other medical professionals. Her other volunteer activities include volunteering at Genessaret Free Clinic and at Eagle Creek Park. She has monitored the Eastern bluebird populations at Eagle Creek since 1991 and serves on two boards associated with the park.
