Ariana Gabaudan

International Programs Director

Indianapolis, IN

From a Honduran mother and a French-Brazilian father, Ariana was raised in over ten countries around Latin America, Asia and the Pacific due to her father’s work as a humanitarian worker and human rights advocate. After graduating with a B.A. in Psychology from Concordia University in Montreal, she has worked in the United States, Indonesia, Costa Rica, Colombia and Ecuador with local NGOs focusing on the rights and needs of children in deprived communities.

Ariana first heard about Timmy Global Health while working in Quito, Ecuador serving indigenous at-risk communities to diminish child labor in major markets. This is where she fell in love with Ecuador, its people and its culture. After joining a brigade in the Amazon as an interpreter in 2015, Ariana joined the Timmy team as Medical Programs Coordinator for in the Amazon Basin where she worked alongside 10 communities for two years with the goal to improve their access to healthcare. Through her work with Timmy Global Health as well as her previous experience, she has developed a passion for public health and community development programming which she is thrilled to now bring to the organization country-wide as the Ecuador Program Manager.

Ariana is fluent in Spanish, English and French. When she isn’t working hard to meet Timmy’s mission she can be found practicing and sharing her passion for yoga as a certified yoga therapy teacher, or scuba diving, hiking, camping and traveling across this magnificent country that is Ecuador! Ariana hopes that her personal and professional path will continue to teach and inspire her to embrace the different cultures of our world.
