Local Outreach
Timmy strives to expand access to healthcare resources at a global level-around the world, and across the block. In the same way that our international outreach is done in collaboration with our student chapters and on-the-ground partners, our local outreach relies on the passion and hard work of our volunteers and the support of surrounding organizations.
Medical Supply Warehouse
Timmy uses its 5,000-square foot medical warehouse and supply bay to maintain a steady inventory of supplies for our medical service trips. As we continue to grow, however, we are more equipped to distribute some of those supplies to free or subsidized clinics and social workers within the Indianapolis community, as well as other Indianapolis-based healthcare organizations working internationally. Thanks to the hard work of over 80 volunteers who help to sort and organize our inventory each year, we are able to efficiently and effectively maintain the warehouse and get medicines and supplies to those who need them most. Some of the most common supplies that we distribute to other Indianapolis-area organizations include wheelchairs, walkers, respiratory supplies, hygiene materials, simple surgical supplies, and much more.
Below is a list of the central-Indiana and surrounding organizations that we have supported with inventory from our warehouse:

Central Indiana Student Chapters
Timmy High Schoolers and College students involved with chapters in the Indianapolis area are incredible stewards of local service. They have begun to expand their reach beyond advocacy and campus projects, and are engaging in long-term community service that benefits the Indianapolis area. One of the larger projects that Timmy high school and Indianapolis college chapters are working on is with a developing partner-IU Health-and their community food service project Garden on the Go. This is a year-round produce truck providing fresh, affordable fruits and vegetables to neighborhoods in “food deserts” throughout Marian county, Indiana. The students take responsibility for various stops along the produce truck’s schedule and help to distribute food items and share public health information with the customers.
